A very creative and soulful vocalist and composer, Sarah Gromko fronts this New York band. I play tenor, flute, and clarinet on several tracks.

A wonderful jazz vocalist famous in the mid-west, Janet commissioned me to write an arrangement of Cole Porter’s “Love For Sale,” featured here on this Billie Holiday tribute album. Also features two former saxophone teachers of mine: Tom Washatka and Woody Mankowski.

Javier contributes a little saxophone on this alternative pop/jazz/rock project by the former concertmaster of the Oberlin Orchestra–violinist and vocalist Katy Gunn–and her band. Click on the CD icon for a link to sound samples and info. You can hear a bit of Javier at the end of track 7, “Neil’s Universe,” playing a couple layers of deep meaty tenor sax.
