Music of Rodney Rogers - Complicated Optimism Features myself on classical tenor saxophone with the Lawrence University Saxophone Ensemble. Rogers is a wonderful composer who teaches at Arizona State University. Lawrence commissioned him to write "Two Views" for the sax ensemble and Lawrence percussion ensemble. It is a great piece of new music. The entire CD is an engaging and inspired project. |
